Another arrest in Portland anti-Trump protest riot
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Police have made another arrest in connection with vandalism during a Portland protest against GOP President-elect Donald Trump last weekend.
Portland police said in a news release that officers arrested 20-year-old Gavin Hotchkiss in Milwaukie Thursday and booked him into the Multnomah County Jail on charges of criminal mischief and riot.
Police say detectives developed information that Hotchkiss was involved in vandalizing a Jeep being driven in downtown Portland that was surrounded by protesters.
The Portland Police Bureau continues to ask for the public’s help to identify criminal suspects involved in the protests.
