OSP investigates remains found in Klamath County
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (AP) — Oregon State Police are continuing to investigate human remains found in Klamath County earlier this month.
OSP said in a news release Tuesday that officials are awaiting autopsy results on remains found Nov. 4 near Klamath Falls.
But car keys, a Ruger .22-caliber pistol and a large knife found near the remains match those carried by Brett T. Farmer when he was last seen.
Farmer was reported missing Aug. 23, 2014.
Farmer’s then-girlfriend told police he was suicidal, but Farmer’s family is disputing that.
His sister, Heidi Dishmon, tells the Herald and News (http://bit.ly/2fIfB30) that his family believes he was a homicide victim.
At the time of his disappearance, Farmer was enrolled in Klamath County Drug Court for a 2013 conviction for burglary.
