Police investigate Springfield woman’s disappearance

KTVZ

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Police are trying to find a Springfield woman who has not been seen in six weeks.

The mother of 28-year-old Ashley Zoll tells The Register-Guard (http://bit.ly/2gskeSq) she last received a text message from her daughter on Oct. 28 — her daughter’s birthday.

Beverlee Workman says she and her daughter talk or text at least every couple of days, if not more.

Workman pays for Zoll’s cellphone, and can see the phone activity. She says it has not been used since Nov. 3, and something must be wrong.

Springfield police detectives confirm they are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call them at 541-726-3721.
