Jericho Road receives foundation grant

Jericho Road said Wednesday it has received a $6,000 grant from the Reser Foundation to help with housing assistance, daily hot meals and weekend food programs.

Jericho Road is involved with providing Redmond’s homeless and hungry with alternatives to costly food expenses when rents and related housing charges are so prohibitive.

According to Mike Powers, chairman of the Jericho Road Board, “This money is a perfect Christmas gift to so many of our friends and neighbors in the Redmond area, especially during the cold months when shelter, warmth and food are critical to survival.”.
