PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Police say two employees at a Portland apartment complex were shot and wounded by a man who had apparently just been evicted.

Police said the suspect in the Monday shooting, identified as 65-year-old Reynaldo Diaz Cabrera, was arrested without incident after he was located in a vehicle.

A 45-year-old man and a 64-year-old women suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries from the shooting at the apartment complex.

Both were taken by ambulance to a Portland hospital.

Police said preliminary information indicates Cabrera was formally evicted on Monday and that the two victims are employees with the apartment complex management.

The victims were not identified by police.

Police say Cabrera was booked into Multnomah County Jail and held on attempted murder charges. He is expected to appear in court Tuesday.
