The Gabon soccer federation says Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has retired from internationals. The federation says it received a letter from the Barcelona striker and Gabon captain informing it of his decision. Aubameyang played for the national team for 13 years, made 72 appearances and scored 30 goals to become his country’s all-time leading scorer.
