Washington County Jail inmate dies
HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) – Authorities say a jail inmate died in a hospital west of Portland Wednesday after deputies found him unresponsive in his cell.
The Oregonian/OregonLive reports (https://goo.gl/amgTNf ) 58-year-old Dale Thomsen was found around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in a cell at the Washington County Jail.
Washington County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. David Thompson says he was taken to a local hospita,l where he died.
Thompson says the man died of a medical condition. He declined to release more specific information.
Thomsen was booked into the jail Sunday on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court.
The warrant stemmed from a January charge of failure to perform the duties of a driver, court records show.
