Bend, Redmond haulers move up trash collection for eclipse

From Wednesday, August 16 – Tuesday, August 22, Bend Garbage & Recycling and Cascade Disposal are asking all of their customers to put their garbage & recycling carts / containers out the night before their service day.

Due to the increased traffic from the solar eclipse, collection times will begin in the early morning hours, so it is important that carts and containers are placed out the night before the customer’s service day.

In the Redmond area, Thursday, August 17 – Tuesday, August 22, High Country Disposal is asking all of their customers to put their garbage & recycling carts / containers out by 10 p.m. the night before their service day.

Collection times will begin at midnight (12:00 am), due to the increased traffic from the solar eclipse.
