Bend Area Habitat sets rebuilding trip to Harvey-hit Houston
Join Bend Area Habitat for Humanity on a rebuilding trip to Houston, TX, February 24-March 4, 2018. The trip will consist of staff from Bend Habitat and volunteers from the community helping to rebuild homes damaged by Hurricane Harvey.
Volunteers do not need construction experience, just a desire to make a difference. The trip will be led by two staff from Bend Area Habitat and staff from the St. Bernard Project in Houston for the rebuilding project.
The cost is just $1,100 plus airfare. This cost includes lodging, food, in-city transportation, activities in Houston and donations to the St. Bernard Project and Bend Habitat.
