Local Alert Weather – Wed. PM
Happy Wednesday evening, everyone!
Freezing fog is widespread in lower elevations today and will continue to stick around through tonight. Lows under the fog won’t vary too much from where we’re at right now. Temperatures will be in the teens and 20s under the fog. Above the fog temperatures will be in the single digits and teens overnight. Keep in mind some roads could be icy or slick.
Tomorrow begins with freezing fog once again and sunshine for higher elevations. Daytime highs will be in the 20s and lower 30s under the fog. Higher elevations will look at temperatures to be in the upper 30s and lower 40s for Thursday.
A front pushing inland will kick up our winds and hopefully it will be enough to change our poor air quality levels. By Friday we’ll see a slight chance for showers by the afternoon. The Cascades are not looking at too much snow out of this system, but could pick up a couple inches.
The weekend is looking dry with partly cloudy skies. Highs will hover in the low to mid 40s.
