Local Alert Weather 1225 Mon PM
Merry Christmas!
Today we saw clearer skies and warmer temperatures. The storm system we saw throughout the weekend has moved off to the East. Tonight we’ll see partly cloudy skies. Some of us could have patchy freezing fog move through the region, which means roads in the morning could become fairly slick. Temperatures overnight will be cold in the low to mid 30’s.
Tuesday we’ll stay dry and partly cloudy throughout the days. Daytime highs slightly cooler than today in the mid 30’s. Overnight we’ll see clouds push through from a new storm system that has a 20 percent chance of bringing us snow showers. This will begin to break up by Wednesday.
A warm front will move in by Wednesday. Daytime highs will be around average in the low to mid 40’s. We’ll stay mostly cloudy for the rest of the week with a slight chance of rain showers.
