Thursday PM Local Alert Weather

KTVZ

Good evening Central Oregon.

A stormy afternoon here on the high desert, as we saw rain falling and breezy conditions this afternoon and evening.

There is a wind advisory in place, that will expire at 10 pm tonight as this storm moves out of the region.

The rain and wind will stick with us tonight before it makes it way out of the area overnight.

Lows tonight for most of the region will stay above freezing in the 30’s, to the south, temperatures will get below freezing.

There is a chance still for some lingering showers on Friday morning before things begin to clear up.

Friday looks to be clear with partly sunny skies and mild temps in the 40’s to low 50’s.

Partly cloudy skies for the weekend mild temperatures with cool nights ahead.

Then early next week another chance of showers are in the forecast.
