Local Alert Weather 0114 PM
Hello Central Oregon!
Today was more foggy than expected. It came in around 8 o’clock this morning. With the help of some light wind and the weight of the fog it sunk faster than it did throughout the region. It started off fairly patchy, but it became dense throughout the afternoon. Above the fog skies are looking partly cloudy. More clouds will push into the region tonight. Temperatures will drop around freezing if not slightly cooler so the fog could turn into freezing fog. Therefore, rime from the freezing fog will be left on cars, roads, and sidewalks making them fairly slick.
Monday the fog will continue. It could lift when the next storm system pushes through Monday evening. We will be cloudy tomorrow as well with temperatures slightly above average. Rain showers will begin overnight Monday and become harder Tuesday.
We’ll warm up Tuesday, but the rain showers will continue. We have an 80 percent chance of rain showers. The warm front will bring temperatures back into the mid to upper 40’s for the rest of the work week. The rain will stick around for most of the week. Snow levels will begin to drop as will our temperatures so Friday we could see some mixed showers.
By Saturday we dry up, but remain cloudy with temperatures around average in the lower 40’s.
