Local Alert Weather 0115 PM
Hello Central Oregon!
The fog has stuck around and the sun wasn’t able to heat our surfaces. Therefore, our daytime highs are below average and fairly chilly. We’ll remain around freezing for our evening temperatures. The fog will stick around until 9 or 10 o’clock tonight. This is when a storm system will begin to move into Central Oregon. Around 11 o’clock we have a 50 percent chance of rain showers. That chance will grow overnight and the showers will last until 4 a.m.
Tuesday afternoon the rain showers will stop. For the rest of the day we will have partly cloudy skies that will become mostly cloudy throughout the day. Temperatures will be above average in the upper 40’s. Above average temperatures will continue Wednesday. We will be back into the lower 50’s for daytime highs and breezy.
Thursday we’ll be cloudy with a chance of rain showers returning. The temperatures will be chilly overnight so the rain showers could turn to snow. Friday there’s a slight chance of snow showers throughout the day with cooler temperatures in the upper 30’s. Showers return Saturday. Snow levels will drop. Therefore, we’ll see a chance of mixed showers Saturday and Sunday.
