Local Alert Weather 0116 PM
Hello everyone!
Today we saw early morning rain showers that quickly moved out of the area. After that we saw the sun for the rest of the morning and afternoon. Around 1 we saw more clouds push into the region. Today, daytime highs were about ten degrees above average in the lower 50’s. Tonight we’ll remain fairly mild for our temperatures in the evening ahead. Overnight we’ll see more clouds push in with temperatures dropping back around freezing.
Tomorrow we’ll be breezy with winds up to 15 miles per hour. We’ll remain cloudy for the rest of the day and dry until dinner time. Then we have a 70 percent chance of rain showers. The strength of the system will push through overnight. Temperatures will remain mild once again in the lower 50’s.
The breezy conditions continue into Thursday with a 60 percent chance of rain showers. Temperatures will be slightly cooler, but still above average. Behind this system will be a cold front. Therefore, we see temperatures drop into the lower 40’s with overnight low’s below freezing.
Due to this the showers that push in on Saturday could be mixed showers. Snow levels will drop to 2,500 feet, which gives a chance of seeing early morning or late night snow flurries. These showers will continue on and off until Monday.
