Thursday PM Local Alert Weather
Good evening Central Oregon, I’m Jacob Larsen in the NewsChannel 21 Local Alert Weather Center.
We saw a rainy day here on the high desert and even saw some hail briefly in some areas.
This storm is making its way through the region and is bringing some much needed snow to the cascades.
Across Central Oregon we are going to see a rain snow mix as temperatures drop this evening we will see a better chance for some snow showers.
This storm will move out tonight.
Cold temperatures overnight tonight with lows in the 20’s.
It is going to be cold for Friday as well, with highs in the upper 30’s to low 40’s and partly cloudy skies.
It looks to stay dry until Sunday when we see a better chance for snow in Central Oregon as cool temperatures will stick around heading into the start of next week.
