Local Alert Weather 0122 Mon PM
Hello everyone!
Not a bad way to start off the work week. We had partly cloudy skies for most of the day, even got to see some sunshine! Hopefully you had a chance to enjoy it, because more storms are on the way and could start tomorrow. Tonight, we’ll remain dry with mostly clear skies. Due to the lack of clouds temperatures will get fairly cold in the low 30’s.
Clouds will push in Tuesday morning. Your commute to work should be dry, but we have a fifty percent chance of mixed showers throughout the day. For the most part the storm will stay along the Cascades. Therefore, a Winter Weather Advisory will go in place for the mountains tomorrow morning at 10. This will stay in place until Wednesday evening. Daytime highs will be above average in the mid 40’s and drop to the upper 30’s overnight.
The chance of showers will continue on and off for the rest of the week. Rain showers will stick around all day Wednesday. Temperatures will be near the upper 40’s to even the 50’s. A cold front will push through Wednesday night causing the rain showers to turn to snow. Snow levels will also drop to about 2,000 feet giving us a chance of snow showers Thursday and Friday. Temperatures will only be in the upper 30’s for daytime highs.
Saturday temperatures will warm up in the upper 40’s with mixed showers turning to rain on Sunday.
