KTVZ

Good evening Central Oregon!

Cool temperatures today on the high desert.

Some areas saw snow showers this morning before things cleared up a bit this afternoon making way for partly cloudy skies and breezy conditions with wind out of the southwest at 5-10 mph.

That wind will die down tonight and we will see partly cloudy skies overnight with a chance for some isolated snow showers.

Clearer conditions with cold temperatures on Friday.

Friday night and into Saturday morning brings a better chance for wide spread snow showers across the region.

As things begin to warm up on Friday morning snow could become mixed and turn into rain in some spots.

Cold overnight tonight, lows in the 20’s.

And it’s going to be cold again on Friday with highs in the upper 30’s to low 40’s.

This system looks to move out of the region by Sunday with a mild start to the next work week with highs in the 50’s.
