Local Alert Weather – Tues. PM

KTVZ

Happy Tuesday evening, everyone!

After another beautifully sunny day we’ve seen some clouds roll into the region. Highs today reached the mid to upper 50s pushing us a little above average. Tonight expect increasing clouds with winds out of the south around 10 miles per hour. Lows will bottom out in the low to mid 20s, which is also around average.

Wednesday will wake up to more clouds than what we’ve been seeing over the past few mornings. Overall, the day will see partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies. Highs will be back into the upper 40s and low to mid 50s. Winds will be out of the south around 10 to 15 miles per hour.

Overnight into Thursday the next system pushes onshore bringing rain showers west of the Cascades and a chance for showers for Central Oregon. The chance for showers overnight into Thursday is pretty slim, but the mountains could see some snow showers. Accumulations by Thursday morning would be very minimal at this point.

Thursday could see a few scattered showers throughout the day. Winds will be gusty out of the southwest around 40 miles per hour with sustained winds around 25 to 30.

Once we get into the weekend we enter a drier pattern with more sunshine returning. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50s.
