Blasting planned for Redmond Airport runway project
Redmond Municipal Airport said the reconstruction project of Runway 11-29 will involve blasting in the late afternoon for the next three days, through Thursday.
The r ock blasting will occur around 4:30 p.m. each day on Runway 11, which has four specific rock blasting zones.
Officials said t he construction blasting schedule will not impact commercial passenger air carrier service.
