Local Alert Weather – Tues. PM

KTVZ

Happy Tuesday evening, everyone!

We’ve seen some clouds overhead today, but temperatures were fairly average in the mid 50s. Winds have been breezy at times and will continue to gust around 25 miles per hour going into the overnight hours. Tonight we can expect sustained winds out of the southwest around 10 miles per hour. We’ll see partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies overhead. Overnight lows will bottom out in the low to mid 30s, which is above average.

A disturbance has brought some light showers to the Cascade crest mainly from Santiam Pass up to the north. Overall the ski resorts are not looking at new snow, but maybe a dusting. The roads on the passes should be just fine for driving.

Wednesday begins with some sunshine and more mild temperatures than what we had for Tuesday. Highs will climb into the mid to upper 50s and lower 60s, which puts us above average. We’ll see partly sunny skies for tomorrow as were still seeing a brief flow from the northwest linger overhead. Winds will be breezy at times gusting 25 miles per hour.

Heading into the end of the week temperatures will stay above average in the low to mid 60s. We’ll see variable clouds overhead, but we’re not looking at chances for showers. Enjoy the dry conditions and mild weather!
