NeighborImpact heating help still available
Spring may have sprung, but the nights and mornings are still COLD. If you are cold, NeighborImpact may be able to help with your heating bills or provide resources to make your home more energy-efficient.
There are a number of heating and energy assistance programs available to Central Oregon residents at different times throughout the year.
NeighborImpact’s Energy Assistance program currently has a funds available and can provide financial assistance to income-qualified residents of the Tri-County area with electric and gas bills as well as propane, wood and oil.
“We are continuing to see clients struggling with the burden of high energy bills,” said NeighborImpact Energy Assistance Manager Lori Scharton. “We want you to know that NeighborImpact’s Energy Assistance program is here to help.”
The organization now has funds available to address community energy needs.
“You don’t have to wait until your account is past due or disconnected,” said Scharton.
