Local Alert Weather – Wed. AM

KTVZ

Happy Wednesday morning, everyone!

Grab a coat as you’re headed out the door today, and keep a rain jacket handy! We have the chance for some mixed showers this afternoon with a much better chance for showers overnight. Today we’ll see mostly cloudy to overcast skies. Winds won’t be nearly as strong as they were yesterday. Daytime highs will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s, which is still about 10 degrees below average.

Mixed showers could leave us with some slick roads in higher elevations this afternoon. Overnight we could also see some snow mixed in from Bend to the south. Tomorrow morning would be slick if snow falls in your area. Overnight lows will be right around the freezing mark in the upper 20s and lower 30s.

Thursday will be left with a few lingering showers in the early morning before sunrise. If you see wet roads, take your time because temperatures will be off to a chilly start and that means roads could be slippery. Thursday begins our drying trend as we move through the extended forecast. Daytime highs will be in the mid to upper 50s.

Friday will see highs in the mid to upper 60s, which will feel much more like spring! A week disturbance moves in this weekend which drops our temperatures back into the upper 50s and lower 60s, which is average. We’ll see mostly sunny skies overhead.
