Local Alert Weather 0418

KTVZ

Hello Central Oregon!

It’s been a cloudy and chilly day across the region. Throughout the next 12 hours we have a chance of rain showers. Overnight temperatures will reach freezing and for some areas the rain could turn to snow. This won’t be a major snow event. Maybe a dusting by the time you wake up tomorrow morning. We’ll be chilly with temperatures in the low to mid 30’s. On top of that, the winds pick up to 15 miles per hour.

The winds stick around tomorrow. The winds help break up the cloud cover in our skies. Throughout our Thursday we’ll have partly cloudy skies with temperatures around average.

Over the next couple days we have a gradual warm up. Friday we’ll be partly cloudy with temperatures in the mid 60’s. Throughout the rest of the weekend skies remain sunny with temperatures around average.

Monday and Tuesday look to be the best days of the week so far with clear, sunny skies and temperatures nearing the 70’s.
