Local Alert Weather – Wed. PM

KTVZ

Happy Wednesday evening, everyone!

Sunshine returns to Central Oregon and temperatures have warmed as a result. High pressure is anchored in offshore for the next few days giving us summer-like weather! Tonight we’ll stay clear with lows bottoming out in the mid to upper 30s, which is above average. Winds will be light out of the south around 5 miles per hour.

Tomorrow begins with sunshine once again. We’ll see a few clouds by the afternoon tomorrow and some high clouds throughout the day. Highs will be warmer in the mid to upper 70s and some areas towards the north in the lower 80s.

Friday remains warm with highs in the mid to upper 70s, but we’ll see more clouds overhead. By Friday night into Saturday the next disturbance is going to move inland. The next system could bring us slightly cooler temperatures, and with that a chance for a few thunderstorms.

We’re keeping a very close eye on this weekend. As of now it’s looking like a slight chance for a few thunderstorms both Saturday and Sunday. Highs will be mild in the 70s.
