KTVZ

Good Monday Morning, Everyone…
While we may see some high thin clouds over Central Oregon today, we can expect plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures. Highs will be in the low to mid 70’s with gentle NW breezes at 5-10 mph. Our skies will stay mostly clear tonight and temps will stay well above average for this time of year. Lows will be in the low to mid 40’s and gentle breezes at 5-10 mph will turn SW by morning.
Tuesday has the potential to be even warmer with highs around 80 degrees. With added moisture pressing in from the Pacific over these warm temps, look for a chance of afternoon and evening pop-up thunderstorms. Rain showers are likely Tuesday night and some of that will stretch into Wednesday morning. Partial clearing Wednesday will be accompanied by cooler temps as highs only reach the mid to upper 60’s. Those cooler temps will actually be something closer to our averages for this time of year. A slight chance of showers Thursday will break up Thursday night. Friday will be mostly sunny. Clearing and warming will continue into the weekend. Under sunny skies Saturday’s highs will be in the mid 70’s and Sunday will see the low 80’s.
