Local Alert Weather – Thurs. PM
Happy Thursday evening, everyone!
We’re sandwiched between a couple weather patterns and are seeing gusty winds as a result. Winds will stay breezy tonight gusting 25 miles per hour out of the northwest. Overnight we carry a chance for a few isolated rain showers with mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies overhead. Lows will be in the low to mid 30s, which is around average.
Tomorrow wakes up to partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies and we’ll stay that way all day. Winds will be gusty again this time topping 30 miles per hour. High temperatures will be nearly the same as they were for today in the upper 50s and lower 60s. The winds will make it feel cooler, though. We’ll see a slight chance for a few sprinkles throughout the day.
Heading into the weekend high pressure builds back into the region. Skies will clear overnight Friday into Saturday, so we’ll wake up to sunshine to begin the weekend. Highs will be in the upper 60s and lower 79s on Saturday. Saturday will be windy with gusts about 35 miles per hour. Mostly sunny skies are expected throughout the day.
Mother’s Day will be just perfect. We’re expecting sunshine to blanket Central Oregon with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Above average temperatures will stick around through the week ahead.
