Local Alert Weather – Tues. PM
Happy Tuesday evening, everyone!
Thunderstorms have developed across Oregon today. Central Oregon has the chance for isolated thunderstorms throughout the evening until the early morning hours. Within the storms winds would be gusty, we could experience some downpours, and there will likely be lightning. Mostly cloudy skies will develop overhead. Temperatures will be mild overnight in the upper 40s and lower 50s.
Tomorrow begins with some scattered rain showers and that chance for showers will continue throughout the day. Cooler air moves into the area tomorrow. Daytime highs will be in the mid to upper 60s, which is much closer to average. Tomorrow afternoon could see a few isolated thunderstorms, but it’s a pretty slight chance.
Overnight lows will be mild in the upper 30s and low to mid 40s. Our average overnight low is 35 degrees.
Daytime highs will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s, which is a little above average. Partly cloudy to partly sunny skies carry us through the end of the week. Thursday and Friday have the slight chance for a few rain showers, but again it’s looking like a slight chance.
The 2018 SELCO Pole Pedal Paddle on Saturday is looking at highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s with partly cloudy skies overhead.
