Local Alert Weather, Thu. AM, 5.17.18
Good Thursday Morning, Everyone…
A weak low-pressure center inching its way northward over the eastern portion of our state will bring rain showers and thunderstorms to the east and leave the rest of us under mostly clear to partly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the low to mid 70’s. Westerly winds will pick up to 5-15 mph. After a gusty evening winds will become light out of the west. Lows will be in the 30’s under partly cloudy skies.
With a variable cloud cover, temperatures will remain pretty mild going into the weekend. Highs Saturday for the Pole, Pedal, Paddle will be in the mid 70’s. The next system pushing in Saturday evening will give us a 40% chance of showers Sunday and that will stretch into Monday morning. Highs will be getting close to 80 degrees by the middle of next week and we will see a slight chance of isolated showers staying with us until then, as well.
