Brody Morgan

Brody Morgan joined KTVZ News in September 2026 as a content creator and news producer, bringing a passion for visual storytelling and a strong connection to the Central Oregon community.

He earned a Film and Photography certificate from Central Oregon Community College, where he studied photojournalism, filmmaking, and studio performance. However, his passion for storytelling began long before college.

In one of his first college writing classes, Brody was assigned a research project on the neurobiology of the human brain, with a focus on serial killers and psychopathy. The assignment sparked a fascination with understanding people, their motivations, and the stories behind their actions. More importantly, it introduced him to the power of storytelling to inform, engage, and connect with others.

Throughout high school and college, Brody created numerous short films, skits, and commercials that helped develop his skills as a writer, filmmaker, and storyteller. As his experience grew, so did his desire to share meaningful stories with the community he has always called home.

That passion ultimately led him to KTVZ News, where he thrives in a fast-paced environment that combines writing, video production, and creative storytelling. He is excited to help tell the stories that matter most to Central Oregon viewers.

Outside the newsroom, Brody enjoys slacklining, rock climbing, exploring the outdoors, writing, watching films, and spending time with family and friends.
