Several inches of new snow in area resorts as a result of recent snowfall. Activity should taper off today but more wintry weather is headed our way as early as late tonight but definitely by tomrrow as another low pressure system approaches from the Central Pacific bringing the chance for a bit more mountain snow.

Most resorts only saw an inch of snow over the past 24 hours. A weak front is moving onshore in Washington and Oregon bringing precipitation mainly to the Cascades tomorrow. Expect a passing rain or snow shower in the mountains. 

Some resorts saw around one to two inches of new snow in the past 24 hours. Our area is still under the influence of a large scale upper level trough which remains over the western United States.  As a result we can expect continued snow in the Cascades and possibly 1-4 more inches of snow

A weak upper level low pressure system that’s been moving through the region will exit the region into Southern Idaho by Thursday evening. Some areas may see a bit of a wintry mix at times in lower elevations but snow will be mainly confined to the Cascades.
