Bethlehem Inn raises $425,000 to support homeless in Central Oregon

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Bethlehem Inn, Central Oregon's leading emergency shelter, raised $425,000 at its annual 'Spotlight on Homelessness' fundraiser held on May 12th. The event took place at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Central Oregon in Bend.

The $425,000 was raised thanks to title sponsor Les Schwab Tires, other sponsors, individual contributors, the Bethlehem Inn board of directors, and community partners. This

The 'Spotlight on Homelessness' event is Bethlehem Inn's only annual fundraiser, with all proceeds directly supporting the Inn's programs.

The yearly fundraiser is also a time for Bethlehem Inn to reflect on its accomplishments and celebrate stories of hope. Programming at the event highlights the unique journeys that lead people to the Inn and how they overcome barriers to regain stability.

Bethlehem Inn provides emergency shelter, safety and case management services in Bend and Redmond. The organization works to help individuals and children experiencing homelessness.

Annually, Bethlehem Inn serves more than 1,100 individuals and provides more than 100,000 meals.
