There’s Good News: Think Wild Central Oregon dedicated to helping wildlife recover through wildfire season

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Think Wild Central Oregon is once again stepping up to help out our local wildlife population.

The nonprofit wildlife hospital says right now, wildfire season is affecting both people and wildlife across Central Oregon.

As animals move to escape fire and smoke, we're likely to see increased wildlife activity in unexpected places.

Luckily, Think Wild is here to help.

It asks you to please slow down while driving, especially at dawn, dusk, and at night, leave out clean water in a quiet area away from people and pets, and never feed wildlife.

If you find an animal that seems injured, orphaned, or displaced, give the Wildlife Hotline a call before intervening, 541-241-8680.
