There’s Good News: BrightSide Animal Center in Redmond launches ‘Dog Day Out’ program

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) BrightSide Animal Center, Redmond's nonprofit animal shelter, has a new 'Dog Day Out' program, where community members can take a shelter dog out for a day on the town.

Whether it’s walking around your block, a relaxing afternoon at home, a hike on the trails, or an adventure around town--even a few hours away from the shelter can have a tremendous impact.

These outings help reduce stress, build confidence, provide valuable enrichment, give their team important insight into how each dog behaves, and get them in front of adoptable animals.
