Upcoming bus safety events scheduled for Redmond kindergartners

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Getting ready for kindergarten also means getting ready to ride the school bus.

The Redmond School District is hosting kindergarten bus safety days to help young students learn how to ride safely before the school year begins.

The hands-on event gives children a chance to practice crossing the street safely around a school bus, learn proper bus behavior, and practice getting on and off the bus.

The events are scheduled for August 18th at 10 a.m. and August 19th at 6 p.m. at Redmond School District Transportation (245 SW Rimrock Way).
