Furry Friends: Ruby the Rottweiler loves people and being a couch potato

This week's Furry Friend is Ruby, a 5 1/2-year-old Rottweiler looking for her forever home at Brightside Animal Center in Redmond.

Ruby loves people and treats! She's a sweetheart and loves wagging her tail.

She's a big girl and is looking for a home where she can get all of the love and attention she deserves.

"She does prefer a home on her own. She's not a big fan of other dogs. She's had some negative experiences in her life with them, but she loves people. She is a big girl. She can be a big puller. We do recommend a home with either older kids or just adults," said Hannah Loftis, the shelter manager at Brightside. "Her favorite things are being a couch potato, going on good walks, and getting all the treats that she can. She is a wonderful dog. She is a Rottweiler, so finding a home with someone that has had experience with Rottweilers could be beneficial just so they understand her and what she needs."
