Pet Pals: Marigold the sweet kitten is looking for her forever family

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- This week's Pet Pals segment featured Marigold, a 3-month-old kitten at the Humane Society of Central Oregon who is looking for a loving home willing to help manage her heart condition.

Marigold was found as a stray underneath a deck along with two other kittens. While her companions have been adopted, Marigold is still waiting for a family of her own.

According to the Humane Society of Central Oregon, Marigold was recently spayed and underwent blood work after veterinarians discovered she has a significant heart murmur.

She will need follow-up veterinary care, which could include an evaluation by a veterinary cardiologist and an echocardiogram to better assess her heart condition.

Despite the diagnosis, Marigold has been thriving in a foster home and continues to show the playful, energetic personality typical of a kitten her age.

During this week’s Pet Pals segment, Marigold was described as spunky, full of life and affectionate.

The Humane Society hopes to find an adopter who understands her medical needs and is willing to provide the continued care and monitoring she may require.

Anyone interested in giving Marigold a home can contact the Humane Society of Central Oregon to learn more about her and the adoption process.
