Sunny Sunriver festival offers wines to try

People in Sunriver got to enjoy hundred of different wines from around Oregon on Sunday. This was the 24th annual Sunfest Wine Festival.

This year, the event switched locations and was held at the new SHARC (Sunriver Homeowners Aquatics and Recreation Center) at Sunriver Resort, which was completed back in May.

Event organizers said they are very pleased with the new location, and are excited to expand the event.

“It’s a great facility,” said festival Director Kim Gammond. “We’ve kind of learned a lot about the space, and we can definitely grow it here in years to come.”

This was the event’s biggest year to date. Visitors were able to check out almost 60 different vendors throughout the weekend.
