The Bethlehem Inn has elected Michael Ann Benchoff as a member of the Board of Directors.

Benchoff is employed at Deschutes County Mental Health Services as program manager. She is a long-time advocate for those experiencing homelessness and wanted to participate in the community in a meaningful manner, so found her way to the Bethlehem Inn.

“I was impressed by the Inn’s commitment to supporting self-sufficiency and quality of life,” Benchoff said. “I am honored to hold a seat on the Board of Directors, while I walk alongside the staff, volunteers and residents to address the issues of homelessness in Central Oregon.”

The Bethlehem Inn is Central Oregon’s ONLY emergency shelter; providing shelter, food and support to over 1,000 adults and children last year; 66,000 meals were served to those in crisis.
