Last Green Ridge Fire area closures lifted

KTVZ

All closures for the Green Ridge Fire on the Sisters Ranger District of the Deschutes National Forest have been lifted, officials said Tuesday.

The Green Ridge Fire began late on the evening of July 31 and was contained on August 14.

During the fire, several road and area closures were established to provide for public and firefighter safety. Most of those closures were lifted on August 13; however, an area closure for inside the perimeter of the fire remained in place. That area closure has been lifted and all areas closed for the fire are now open.
