Bend hires community relations manager

The city of Bend recently hired Anne Aurand as its new community relations manager.

The community relations manager acts as a liaison between the Bend City Council, city staff and the community.

The position was created to help expand community engagement on issues related to the Bend City Council’s goals and priorities and to promote public awareness of city projects.

Anne has been a resident of Bend for most of the past 20 years and has worked previously as a newspaper reporter in Bend and in Anchorage, Alaska.
