Three Bend roundabouts to close for striping

Preparation and application of final striping for the three new roundabouts in Bend is scheduled for the week of October 14.

Roundabout striping will be completed one at a time and is anticipated to take two days each. To accommodate the project, the intersections will close between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. each day. The anticipated schedule for the roundabout striping is as follows:

18 th and Empire: Monday Oct. 14 and Tuesday Oct. 15 Brookswood and Powers: Wednesday Oct. 16 and Thursday Oct. 17 Mt. Washington and Simpson: Friday Oct. 18 and Saturday Oct. 19

Electronic message boards will be placed in advance of the work to notify the public. A detour route will be signed during the closures to direct traffic around the intersections. Schedules may change due to weather conditions.
