Redmond police arrest 2 in church burglary
Redmond police have arrested two suspects in a recent burglary at the Christian Church of Redmond, officers said Saturday.
Police responded on Jan. 9 to the reported burglary at the church at 536 SW 10th Street. Several items were taken, valued at a total of “well over $1,000,” the Redmond police Facebook posting on Saturday stated.
Following up on leads, detectives contacted two suspects four days later, and both have been arrested, police said, declining to release their names as the case remains under investigation.
Redmond police said they also are investigating another church burglary, though it’s not known if the two incidents are related.
Anyone with information regarding either incident is asked to contact the Redmond Police Detective Division at (541) 693-6911 and refer to case No. 14-7184.
