Les Schwab Tire Centers assist Harmony4Women

Harmony4Women, the local Women’s Acappella Benefit Community Chorus, has received major sponsorship funding from Les Schwab Tire Centers.
The Les Schwab managers have been strong supporters of the chorus since its beginnings in 2009. With stores in each Central Oregon community, they understand the spirit of bringing the many local communities together, through business and through culture.
The community chorus opens its arms to women who love to sing, and want to be a part of this valuable experience in acappella harmony, music education, and community. Past singers have been from La Pine to Madras, Sisters to Prineville, and Bend and Redmond in between.
“We are so grateful to Les Schwab Tire Centers, for their trust in our acappella project and the work of our four organizations”, says Nancy Ueland, Harmony4Women founder. “Their continued support means the world to us. Along with them, we have a number of other returning and new sponsors. “
Joining Les Schwab Tire Centers in the sponsorship arena are Kathi Friedman, Avion Water Company, Harcourts The Garner Group, Kozak Property Management, Moonlight Mailing, Murtaugh Dentistry, Brian Liebman of Directors Mortgage, Hansen & Larson Attorneys and anonymous, all repeat sponsors. New sponsors include, Bend Pet Express, Evergreen Mortgage, Wells Fargo Bank, Shana Sellers of Stahancyk, Kent & Hook Attorneys and Jennifer Coughlin, Attorney.
There is plenty of time for your company to join Harmony4Women as a sponsor! It is requested that all sponsors are in place, prior to the September 18 Singer Signup Party, as they posters should be printed by then. Sponsor logo artwork should be sent to nueland@bendcable.com as soon as possible, and funding must be in place prior to the poster printing, September 1.
Organizations providing leadership for the Harmony4Women Community Benefit Chorus are Bella Acappella Harmony Chorus, the mentoring chorus, AAUW Bend Branch, Soroptimist International of Bend, and Grandma’s House of Central Oregon. The Bend Soroptimist Service Foundation is the fiscal sponsor of the group. Each of these organizations furthers education for women and girls.
Teen and adult singers from the tri-county area are welcome to join in the chorus, without audition. The purposes of the Harmony4Women chorus are to share the joy and understanding of music through 8 weeks of practicing, to establish a community of women across the tri-county area, and to raise funds through the performance and auctions for the four women’s non-profit organizations offering this experience.
Harmony4Women singer reservations will be open on the 15th of August, with the annual Singer Sign-up party on Sept. 18, RSVP at trixytazzy@live.com.
