Sisters woman wins Oregon State Fair competition
Winners of the 2014 Creative and Artistic competitions hosted by the Oregon State Fair have been posted online. Hundreds of Oregonians from throughout the state contributed artwork, baked goods, sewing and other hobbies to be displayed at this year’s fair, which concluded on Labor Day.
Prior to fair, expert judges determined first-, second- and third-place winners for each of the 13 creative departments that comprise fine arts, photography and home arts. Exhibitors who delivered their items to the Fairgrounds can pick them up from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 4 and Friday, September 5 or 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, September 6. Exhibitors who dropped off items at a remote location will claim their items from that location.
