Bend Veterans Day Parade entries sought

The Veterans Day Parade of Bend is seeking veterans, community organizations,schools, bands, businesses and individuals for the 2014 Veterans Day Parade on November 11, which will be at 11 a.m. in downtown Bend.

Participants must register at a planning meeting October 6 or October 27, the last chance for officials to accept new parade entrants.

Both meetings will begin at 6 p.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1643, 1503 N.E. Fourth St., Bend. Registration is free.
