Stage Right Productions receives grant

Stage Right Productions, the nonprofit organization that operates 2 nd Street Theater, has received a $10,000 grant from the Kevin J. Mossier Foundation in support of their ongoing efforts to stage innovative, unique theater productions.

The mission of the Mossier Foundation is to enhance the quality of life for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.

The Foundation recognizes 2 nd Street Theater as an organization committed to staging thought-provoking, entertaining plays.

From shows such as Sordid Lives and Avenue Q, to working with B.E.A.T. (Bend Experimental Art Theatre) and their production of Rent, 2 nd Street Theater is a welcoming, inclusive environment where creative people are free to express themselves.

“We greatly appreciate the support of our audiences, volunteers and the Mossier Foundation, and look forward to being able to continue to bring diverse and entertaining shows to Central Oregon,” the organization said

Stage Right Productions is a nonprofit organization that runs 2 nd Street Theater. Formed in 2011, Stage Right Productions’ mission is to cultivate the performing arts and provide a venue, support, entertainment and education to both the creative individuals and audiences in Central Oregon.
