Ochoco NF-Crooked River Grassland have new Website

The Ochoco National Forest and the Crooked River National Grassland now have their own website at: www.fs.usda.gov/main/ochoco/home .

Ochoco Forest Supervisor Kate Klein said, “We made this change to better serve the public with easy access to specific information.”

Previously, these two USDA Forest Service land management units shared a website with the Deschutes National Forest. The Deschutes website is now: www.fs.usda.gov/main/deschutes/home

The two websites still share much of the same content. Hosting separate sites will allow each unit to provide more localized information, specifically in the area of recreation, which drives the majority of traffic to Forest Service websites.

You can also follow each forest on Facebook now, as well as Twitter, for timely updates, photos and links to more content.
