ODOT begins Beaver Marsh rest stop renovations

KTVZ

Beginning Thursday, the Oregon Department of Transportation will begin a renovation and repair project at two rest stops at Beaver Marsh, south of Chemult on Highway 97.

As a result of this project, water-related services at the two rest stops (N/S) will be shut down. Portable toilets will still be available and parking will remain the same.

ODOT is investing $588,000 on the project which, when complete near the end of June this year (anticipated), will feature improved facilities for motorists traveling north and south along US97.

Motorists can continue to expect reliable services while reconstruction is underway.
