Bend’s NE 27th Street set for repaving work

KTVZ

The city of Bend’s Street Preservation Program for 2015 includes repaving Northeast 27th Street between Rosemary Drive and Butler Market Road during the week of June 1-5, officials said Monday.

The city urged drivers to “please use caution in the area and expect delays” on the street, which has had drivers dodging potholes and broken-up asphalt for some time.

“The city is performing seasonal road improvements to help maintain smooth roads,” the announcement said.

The city will be maintaining two way traffic at all times on 27th, except for a short period of time when the work is adjacent to Mountain View High School, in the area of a pedestrian refuge.

For that section, the city will use flaggers to manage traffic, and drivers will experience delays.

Signs will be posted to alert drivers prior to the construction.
